When a couple breaks up, one person may move on while the other person feels totally lost. If you are the one who feels lost, you probably feel that nothing will be right until you can get your ex back into your life and arms. If you are aiming to do just this thing, there are some things you need to bear in mind. They are not difficult to remember and won’t necessarily win back the love of your life. They are designed for you to take a look at yourself and alter what you think needs to be altered.

 

Step 1

After the initial break up, both you and your ex need to take time for yourselves. This is usually known as the cool down period. If you can clear your mind of the negative thoughts that built up over the course of the relationship, it is better for both you and your ex. This is the time you need to focus on you and you alone.

 

Step 2

When all hope seems lost, fight back those negative feelings that seem to crop up when you least expect it. Try to compel your feelings to think positively. By doing this, it can help in every facet of your existence. Do this even if you feel close to dejection.

 

Step 3

When couples break up, it’s quite common for one, if not both, to sit around and mope. However, doing this kind of thing can actually be more harmful. When couples breakup, they need to continue going out with friends and be optimistic about the future. By keeping with the positive energy around you, you achieve the strength you need to fight and get your ex back or move on.

 

Step 4

Eventually, you will need to look at the relationship. Make out a list of things that were good and things that were bad. It is imperative (before you attempt to get your ex back) that you find out what was the source behind your breakup. The worst thing you can do as you make this list is place all fault on the ex or yourself. The thing to remember is both of you bears the responsibility. Once you have established the problems that lead to your breakup, you can seek to change yourself so it never happens again.

 

Step 5

If the result you wanted was to get your ex back in your life and you are spending time together, then you should be proud.  Don’t fall back into the “do you remember when stories” rather focus on the here and now. If you show him or her that you have changed, then giving the relationship another shot, they think, won’t be so bad.

 

A saying to remember after any thing bad that has happened is “things will get better when you make them better”. If you think positive that you can get your ex back, then do it.
