Amid the iPhone 4G launch, it's a great time for current and future users to start thinking about iPhone apps. It's the perfect opportunity to reassess the apps you've already downloaded, clear out the ones you're not using, and research which new apps you may be missing out on. Below, find a list of the must-have iPhone apps to fit various lifestyles:

Mommy Apps

According to some moms, the best iPhone apps they have are games. Why you ask? Simply to keep the little ones entertained when everyone’s patience is wearing thin. Of course there are other applications that help cut down on mommas’ stress levels including coupon apps, grocery planning/budgeting apps and many more. You get the point!

Babycenter's PhonyPhone ($0.99)

For those future cell phone users, there is an app to keep them from dialing for real. BabyCenter's PhonyPhone is made for small talk. This fabulously fun app lets your little one dial the phone and chatter away without ever making a real call.

Disney's Fairies Fly ($4.99)

Which little princess doesn’t like Tinker Bell? Fly with the fairies and discover a world of adventure and fun. This magical game captures the excitement of the changing seasons in the heart of Never Land in a place called Pixie Hollow.

Save Benjis ($0.99)

This app allows you to look up any item you are viewing at a store and compare prices across multiple other stores to see if you’re making a smart purchase. It helps you shop confidently knowing you’re getting a good deal!

Urbanite Apps

There are some apps that are essential to navigate the concrete jungle. With hundreds of options in every category whether it be food, shopping etc, it’s important to cut through the clutter and these apps make that happen!

Urbanspoon (Free)

It’s like visiting the slots in Vegas, only you always win! If you’re looking for a new restaurant to try or Chinese in your area, this is the best application for the foodie urbanite. Urbanspoon provides you with many local options when choosing a restaurant for dinner. After using the phone’s GPS to detect restaurants in the area, it presents you with a slot machine-like listing of cuisine types and price (with a simple shake of the iPhone).

Hopstop (Free)

Subways can be confusing, whether you’re a visitor to the city or even a permanent resident. With Hopstop’s GPS tracking, you’re able to add your destination to get the best subway route directions and your ETA. The app currently routes subways in many major U.S. cities, including New York, San Francisco, Boston, and more.

CheckPlease ($0.99)

Do you have a hard time figuring out how much to tip or always pass the buck off to your friend to calculate? Never fear, this app is here! CheckPlease helps you figure out who pays what, without the iffy calculator that is your brain or relying on another’s math skills.

Work-A-Holic Apps

For the very special bunch that just can’t help but take work home with them, are always on their phone, or trying to find time on vacation to get to their computers, there are apps to help them use their time wisely, even when they are away from their laptops.

1Cast (Free)

A customizable video news story aggregator that can be fine-tuned to fit your interest in business, technology, politics and more. It’s a mobile news station made just for you, by you.

TripIt (Free)

This app is rated one of the best travel organizers in the travel Appisphere. TripIt puts all your travel plans right on your iPhone no matter where your travel was booked! It can also keep track of your frequent flyer accounts, view your flight status, plus show you alternate flights if needed.
