Some time back, certain rumors about launching of the next-generation iPad had been attributed mostly to the media. In recent times, the media has come out with a lot of interesting information about the possible characteristics of the screen and the device that could incorporate significant changes into it.
A recent report brought out by Forbes sheds light on a possibility that has been discussed in the past. This refers to the possible launching of a low costing iPad, before the iPad 3 is brought out. This new information talks about the new iPad mini being launched early in 2012, but does not rule out launching of the iPad 3.
However, the launch of the iPad3 by Apple could be delayed to the 2nd quarter, as indicated by recent rumors. Expectations are on that the Mini could come sometime around March; however specifications about the form of presentation being made are not yet available.
Bringing in the iPad Mini could prove premature as it had similar benefits in lines with the newly launched iPhone 4S.But it doesn’t still play any video files, you need convert video to ipad. The new phone that Apple has introduced recently did not include a whole lot of new features as it has been made as an interim device before launching of the totally renovated iPhone 5.
It is, however, being expected that this iPhone 5 would be launched by summer. If there is truth in the rumors that are prevalent these days, an absolutely new 4” screen along with renovation to multiple features, is expected on the new phone.
However, it would be too early to predict on all the features as Apple has not made any statement on this and will also not do so till the actual release of the phone. The iPad 3 is in focus with the expectations of having to compete with the Galaxy Tab 10.1 from Samsung as well as a potential threat from Kindle Fire, by Amazon, which has been market as an economical tablet costing $200.
This is definitely cheaper than what the final price of the iPad3 is expected to be. It now remains to be seen that the iPad Mini, which has been rumored, comes at a more affordable price.
