Sangeetha Chauhan is Ready to Make Her Kannada TV Debut

Sangeetha Chauhan is a film actress who is of Kannada descent. She originally came from the “Jewel of Eastern India”, Gujarat. Sangeetha is commonly known and popular for her cheerful and uplifting aura, resulting to a livelier atmosphere for the people surrounding her.

Sangeetha is a huge fan of Vidya Balan. She even looks forward to doing some Vidyan roles in the future and she said she’ll be more than happy to take them. This is due to her belief that Vidya currently stands as one of the leading symbols in India in terms of women empowerment. According to Sangeetha, she hopes that she’ll be able to work with Vidya someday, even calling her idol “Vidyaji” (a term of reverence).

Early Life and Education

Sangeetha attended her middle and high school in Gujarat. She took up and earned her bachelor’s degree in commerce in a university in Mumbai.

She has also done several modelling and advertising stints for products such as Kellogg’s, Hyundai, McDonald’s, and more. Sangeetha was a Mumbai-based model before she was signed for her debut film Sharp Shooter.

Sangeetha won the as one of the top five candidates in Miss India, grabbing with it the Miss Beautiful Smile Award. She is currently considered as one of the most beautiful actresses in the industry.

Film History

Sangeetha made her Kannada debut in the movie Sharp Shooter in 2015 alongside actor Diganth. While she was applying for the the role of Nandini in the said film, she did not know of the four South Indian languages. She then had to attend a workshop focusing on Kannada language. Prior rehearsals, she had to memorize four pages of lines in Kannada. She also had to put on another six kilograms for this project. She has earned praises and other pleasant reviews for her acting prowess portrayed in Sharp Shooter.

Sangeetha has also taken up roles in the 2015 movie Luv U Aliya as Aliya, and in the 2003 film Jhankaar Beats as Neha.

Future Plans

Sangeetha has always aspired big in terms of future goals. One of her dreams is to a famous personality in the film industry. But now, she said that she is also ready to make her debut in the Kannada Live TV Channel. According to her, taking part in TV shows will not only help her increase her public exposure but it will also aid her in honing her acting skills. This will surely help her set her foundation in not only in the film industry but in the TV industry as well.
