Content: Child psychologists and child experts say that if kids are admitted to schools before 5 years, they will have to face different problems in education and it also hampers the proper psychological and physical growth of children. Some working parents admit their children before 5 years to schools. 1) Developmental Milestones are not achieved

Kids less than 5 years of age have not mastered the developmental milestones. They are still immature and need some time to achieve necessary level of maturity. When these kids are admitted to schools, they feel incompatible with the new environment of schools.

2) They don’t have developed cognition pattern

Their thought pattern is not developed and they don’t understand the basics of education. Their mindsets are weak and they are unable to process the educational information in a proper way. They need some time for better understanding of the world around them.

3) They are unable to stay alone without parents

Kids less than 5 years of age are not capable to stay alone. They feel alienated in the new environment of school. They are not mentally prepared to leave their parents and stay alone in schools. It also affects their personality and they feel insecure.

4) They remain fearful and aloof

These kids remain scared and fearful throughout their school hours. When they get back to home they are still obsessed with the fear of strange world of school. They start hating school and books because of fear.

 

5) They are not able to take personal care

Kids less than 5 years of age are not able to take personal care. They can’t eat on their own. They are not able use toilets. They are unable to exercise bowel control. Their personality is severely affected as they feel shame and guilt.

6) They are not able to read, write and talk in a proper way

Kids less than 5 years are not able to pronounce words clearly. They find difficulty in articulating words. They are unable to hold the pencils and pens firmly. The teachers also find it difficult to understand their incomplete phrases and words.

7) They lose interest in education very soon

If kids are admitted to schools at very young ages, they soon lose interest in education. They feel incompatible and therefore, start hating the books and school. They consider education as their enemy as it has ruined all the happiness of their childhood.

It is not a wise step to admit kids in schools when they are still in the developmental ages and they need time to grow properly. It is burden on kids and it affects their personality as well.
