Laurentiu Iovan: "@Nieznany I completely disagree with you. oth ASP and PHP are languages used to build Dynamic Web sites that can interact with Databases and exchange information. There are a lot of differences between ASP and PHP , but in my opinion they both exist because they serve different purposes . - PHP is free, fast and you can develop a website without to much hassle . - ASP is expensive suited for corporation applications and not for your average personal website. Even though there is a lot of common ground between the two , i believe they should be used according to the clients needs. I myself em a PHP & ASP developer and under no circumstances believe that one is above the other and in the end it's what the person developing the website is more comfortable with. Everywhere i look and everywhere i turn i find forums with people fighting saying that PHP is better then ASP and the other way around. I say it's a matter of taste.
